Diana Krall created her own trio and in 1993 made her first record mentioned above "Stepping Out" (recorded in 1992, but issued in 1993) for "Justin Time Records" label.

In 1995 Diana Krall recorded "Only trust Your Heart" for "GRP Records" and featured bassists Ray Brown and Christian McBride, saxophonist Stanley Turrentine and Lewis Nash on drums.

"All For You (A Dedication for the Nat King Cole Trio)" was issued in 1996, and Diana Krall is accompanied with great guitar player Russel Malone and Paul Keller on bass.Also played: Benny Green (piano on If I Had You) and Steve Kroon (percussion on Boulevard Of Broken Heart). Record is Diana’s sincere dedication to Nat King Cole. After this recording Diana Krall Trio (Russel Malone & Paul Keller) went on a world tour.

Album "All For You" launch Diana Krall in the big league of jazz musicians. More than 70 weeks on Billboard Top 10 Traditional Jazz chart, readers of "Downbeat" magazine voted her third in annual top ten favorites poll, nomination for Grammy award in the best jazz vocalist category and many other recognitions.

Diana Krall’s latest recording "Love Scenes" from 1997, features her Trio again with Russel Malone, brilliantly accompanying Diana on guitar, and Christian McBride on bass.
